Peace to London
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
R.I.P. We will stand with you, London, in this time of suffering.

I am sick and tired of living in a world where there are terrorist attacks. Why can't we all just get along? I know I am naive but it hurts my heart. What do people hope to accomplish by blowing people up? The governments are not going to give in. They are going to push ahead, and TRY to make the world a better place. It is quite interesting how a small nation's insurgents have taken on a world stage. I live in NY. After 9-11, I was outraged. But I don't feel we should have gone to war. Now we have had the bombings in Madrid, and now London. When will it stop? It makes me feel bad about wanting to bring children into this world.

How do y'all feel about this?

    We'll be okay.

It will be a few hard years to wear down the terrorists (or insurgents as the media calls them).

Once we break the back of the fanatics and the regular people in Iraq and the Middle East gain their freedom, the world will be a lot better.

Look at Germany. They wanted to take over the world two times in the 1900s. After two World Wars that killed millions upon millions, they are a respectable member of the world community. Same thing goes for Japan and their empire of the Sun that sought to dominate the world during World War II. Now, they are one of democracy's best friends.

It's interesting that we have no exit strategy from Germany or Japan even though WWII has been over for several generations.

Iraq will be a respectable contributor to our world community in a few short years once the Iraqi's with our help stop the terrorists.

    Deliberate Chaos

It hurts me too. I agree with you and wonder why we can't get along, even if it is naive. However, I don't think governments are trying to make the world a better place. It's not in their interest.Sorry for be so cynical, but I can't be naive all the time!

The "government" is not trying to make the world a better place. They are trying to make everyone believe what they believe and live the way they want them to live. It's not going to stop. They have sleeper cells, they have terrorists joining the Iraqi army just to kill their fellow soldiers.

It is a crappy world. I am sad and heartbroken that more people have to die for a cause that is not theirs. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

What they are trying to accomplish New World Order. It's sickand disturbing.

we cannot wish away terrorism as we cannot wish away crime or sin.

"Where there is no law, there is no sin," so wrote Saint Paul in the Holy Bible.

Terrorism is another crime perpetrated by the fringe elements of forlorn humanity.

Thanks for your show of solidarity. Right now Britons feel defiant and still angry, and I don't think anyone can blame us for that. We will hunt down those who did this and they will face the fullest arm of the law.
